For the concept art portfolio we were tasked with showcasing characters and environments in both our original style and an established one. For the pieces in my own style, I looked to my favorite book series, Pierce Brown's Red Rising Trilogy. Eo is the 16 year-old martyr of the series. Her death helped inspire her husband to infiltrate the highest ranks of The Society in order to tear down the color caste system.
